Piero Ciamberlano nasce a Castrocielo, un borgo medievale del Basso Lazio, in provincia di Fro-sinone. Il centro storico, che pure ha subito un notevole spopolamento negli ultimi decenni, viene oggi tutelato come un bene inestimabile. È situato sulle pendici del monte Asprano, elevazione laterale del maestoso Monte Cairo, che digrada dai suoi 1669 m slm fino all’abbazia di Montecassino, faro di civiltà nei secoli bui del Medioevo.
La distruzione, scellerata e inutile, del monastero di San Benedetto ad opera dei bombardamenti degli Alleati nel corso del secondo conflitto mondiale viene ancora avvertita dalle comunità del territorio, e quindi anche dai cittadini di Castrocielo, come una ferita che non può rimarginare. Piero, amante dell’arte fin da fanciullo, impara ed esercita ininterrottamente il mestiere  del cucito. Insieme a colleghi competenti, apprezzati e stimati egli lavora in un laboratorio che ha sede nel cuore di Roma: vi si confezionano capi d’abbigliamento di alta classe (firmati dal titolare maestro).
Piero, in particolari momenti, quando il suo animo viene preso da forti emozioni, accom-pagnandosi con la tastiera di un pianoforte, si libera dal quotidiano tedio del male di vivere componendo opere poetiche di breve respiro, ma di profondo e sofferto sentire.
Arricchiscono gli affetti della sua vita la compagna Anna e il figlio Enrico.

Piero Ciamberlano was born in Castrocielo, a medieval hamlet in Southern Lazio, in the province of Frosinone. The old town center, after a significant depopulation during the last decades, is now protected as an invaluable asset. It is located on the slopes of Mount Asprano, a promontory of the majestic Mount Cairo, which declines from its 1669 MASL to the Abbey of Monte Cassino, the beacon of civilization through the dark centuries of the Middle Ages.
The wicked and unnecessary demolition of the Monastery of St. Benedict by the Allied bombing during the Second World War, is still perceived by local communities and also by the citizens of Castrocielo, like a wound that will never be healed.
Piero, who loves the art since he was a child, learns and continuously exercises the craft of sewing. Together with  experienced colleagues, appreciated and respected, he works in an atelier which is located in the heart of Rome, where people can find high class clothing (signed by the owner master).
Piero, at times, when his soul feels strong emotions, playing a piano keyboard, removes the daily tedium of the pain of living, composing short but deep and intense poems.
His partner Anna and his son Enrico enrich the affections of his life.
